The JIS example 履歴書 was withdrawn in July 2020, and the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) published a new example in 2021. Its gender field is optional, and it has no fields for commute time, dependents, or spouse. Choose the MHLW style unless an employer asks for the older JIS layout.
